With more than 35 years of experience coaching and playing competitively, Haney is a seasoned professional who has dedicated his time to training players and coaches from the intramural to premier levels throughout our region.

He has been a longtime coach for Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer Association's Olympic Development Program and coached several premier level male and female club teams where several of his players were recruited by NCAA Div. I, Div. II and Div. III schools. Tom, among other coaching licenses, holds USSF C License and an NSCAA Advance National Diploma.

"As a coach I am committed to continually educating myself to be a more efficient coach and provide the best learning opportunity for the soccer athletes," Haney said. "My goal is to prepare and promote student-athletes to both play soccer and be academically successful at a four-year educational institution.

"Playing college soccer is a means to prepare for life. It is easy to correlate the characteristics of a good team and a good working relationship. To create excellence on the field the athletes must work hard, be committed and focused, train to be problem solvers on the field while remaining calm, be responsible and respectful to themselves, teammates with everyone associated with the soccer program and be committed to the goals of the program both on and off the field."
