MCCC Mustangs and NCC Spartans Partner For Annual Dig Pink Event

BETHLEHEM, PA - Mustangs took one set over nationally ranked Northampton Spartans but fell overall 1-3 (18-25, 16-25, 26-24, 18-25) on Monday evening at the annual Dig Pink event hosted by the NCC Spartans. All proceeds from the event support the Sara Smiles Foundation for pediatric cancer. 

Freshman, Brooke Moffa (Hatfield,PA / North Penn) assisted 16 kills and totaled 7 digs. Athena Berlingeri (Collegeville,PA / Spring-Ford) recorded 4 service aces, 9 kills, and 8 digs. Jessica Lofton (Schwenksville,PA / Perkiomen Valley) contributed 7 kills and 4 solo blocks. 

Isabella Koch (Lansdale,PA / North Penn) and Veronica Paciorek (Collegeville,PA / Perkiomen Valley) totaled 26 digs as Koch added 12 digs and Paciorek chipped in with 14 digs and 3 kills.

Mustangs are now place 7-6 overall and 4-4 in Region 19.

The Mustangs are back on Tuesday, October 3rd to face off against Delaware Technical Community College at Home starting at 6pm.
