Men's Soccer Falls to Spartans in 1st Round

The Montgomery County Community College Men's soccer team was defeated in a playoff matchup against Northampton Community College, with a final score of 2-1, capping off the season for the Mustangs. The Mustangs battled hard throughout the game, fighting to keep their season alive and came up just short in the end. Montco finished the season 11-2-2 overall and were crowned EPAC champions.

The Mustangs tallied 5 shots-on-goal for the game, with Niklas Taegar scoring the only goal of the match for the Mustangs. Taegar lined up a penalty shot in the 58th minute, and was able to execute for the Mustangs, tying the game at 1-1. However, in the 69th minute, Northampton scored the go-ahead goal, putting the Mustangs behind for the remainder of the game.
