Baasil Saunders Honored as NJCAA 2nd Team All-American after Stellar Season

Montgomery County Community College is proud to announce that Baasil Saunders, a standout player for the men's basketball team, has been named NJCAA 2nd Team All-American in recognition of his exceptional performance during the season. Saunders played a crucial role in leading the team to a remarkable 28-3 record and 6th place finish in the National Tournament.

Saunders, a dynamic and versatile player, consistently demonstrated his skills and leadership throughout the season. With his exceptional talent and work ethic, he became a driving force behind Montgomery County Community College's success on the court.

Throughout the season, Saunders amassed impressive statistics and showcased his ability to excel in all aspects of the game. He averaged 12.5 points per game, utilizing his scoring ability to contribute to the team's offensive success. Additionally, Saunders was a key facilitator, dishing out an average of 3.2 assists per game, setting up countless scoring opportunities for his teammates. He also averaged 6.7 rebounds and was a huge factor on the boards for the Mustangs.
