Mustangs Top Phantoms 8-4
Blue Bell, Pa. - The Montgomery County Community College Mustangs defeated the Delaware County Community College Phantoms 8-4.
The Phantoms and the Mustangs played at a 0-0 draw for five innings. In the top sixth inning, the Phantoms were able to score two runs, to which the Mustangs answered with five runs in the bottom of the inning. The Mustangs padded their 5-2 lead with three more runs in the seventh. In the top of the eighth inning the Phantoms punched in two more runs but could not catch up with the Mustangs.
