Mustangs Defeat VF Military in Double Header
Blue Bell, Pa. - The Montgomery County Community College Mustangs defeated the Valley Forge Military College Trojans 17-0 and 18-2 in a baseball double header Sunday.
In both games the Mustangs proved they were hungry for a win. In game one the Mustangs came out hard, driving in six runs in the first inning. The Trojans attempted to keep up but the Mustangs never looked back, continuing to build on their lead. The Mustangs showcased stellar offense and defense, racking up 18 runs and allowing the Trojans only two for an 18-2 victory.
In game two the Mustangs unleashed a fury of offensive power, drilling in 16 runs in the first inning. The Trojans could not answer back as the Mustangs earned a shut out in the effort, ultimately winning 17-0.
