Baseball Splits a Double Header with Bucknell
Blue Bell, Pa. - The Montgomery County Community College Mustangs baseball team split a double header with the Bucknell University JV squad Saturday.
In game one, the Mustangs piled on eight runs in the first inning and three in the second. The Bucknell team struggled to come from behind but were unable to score after inning one. Top performers for the Mustangs include Kyle Gaffney went three for three with four RBIs and two runs and Tyler Gregg who went two for three with two RBIs and one run. The game ended in an 11-1 win for the Mustangs.
In game two, the Mustangs scored first with two runs in the first inning, but the Bucknell team answered back with six runs in the second. The Mustangs could not keep up the pace as Bucknell continued to drive offensively. Ultimately, the Mustangs fell 7-14.
