Mustangs Shut Out Colonials
The Montgomery County Community College Mustangs baseball team swept the Community College of Philadelphia Colonials 9-0 and 10-0 Sunday.
In game one Robert Walmsley was the winning pitcher, pitching the entire game and earning 11 strike outs. Walmsley also notched two hits. Nick Strizziere also played well, going 3-for-4 and scoring twice.
Game two was won 10-0 in five innings. Matt Smith was the winning pitcher for the Mustangs, pitching all five innings. Smith pitched a no-hitter, earning five strikeouts and one walk. Tyler Phifer also did well for the Mustangs, going 2-for-2, with two walks and two scores.
