Eric Lewandowski (Lansdale, Pa.), two-year player on the Mustangs men's baseball team, has earned the 2012-2013 Region XIX Robert Zifchak Male Scholar Athlete Award.

In 2012-2013, he was awarded EPAC All-Conference Honorable Mention and NJCAA All-Region XIX Honorable Mention. He was also named Most Valuable Player on the Mustangs squad and earned the NJCAA Award for Superior Academic Achievement. This summer he transferred to play baseball at NCAA Division II Gannon University.

This is the third year of the award. Past recipients include Vladislav Koldomasov (Gloucester County College) in 2011-12 and Daniel Wroblewski (Ocean County College) in 2010-11.
