Delagol, Lombardo Earn Top EPAC Honors; Ferrier Lauded Too

The honors keep coming for Montgomery's baseball team.

After winning its first Eastern Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (EPAC) title, the college received word Monday afternoon that second-year pitcher Chuck Delagol was named EPAC Player of the Year. In addition, Delagol and second-year outfielder Mark Ferrier were named to the  2015 EPAC All-Conference Baseball Team.

Also, skipper Lou Lombardo, who logged his 600th career Mustangs victory back on April 18, was named EPAC Coach of the Year.

The Mustangs finished the season 9-1 in EPAC play, but fell to Rowan College @ Gloucester County in the first round of the Region XIX Tournament.

The 6-1, 200-pound Delagol is from Willow Grove and played at William Tennent High School. The 6-2, 195-pound Ferrier hails from Perkasie and attended Pennridge High School.
