Mustangs Extend Win Streak to 3, Taking Down Lancaster Bible 9-4

Montgomery County Community College were victorious against Lancaster Bible College 9-4 on Wednesday. 

Montgomery County Community College got on the board in the top of the third inning after Mike Greco hit into a fielder's choice, and Lancaster Bible committed an error, each scoring one run.

Montgomery County Community College scored five runs on four hits in the top of the fifth inning. An error scored two runs, Ryan Stewart singled, scoring one run, and Greco singled, scoring two runs. 

Evan Wineburg earned the win for Montgomery County Community College. The starting pitcher gave up six hits and four runs ( one earned) over seven innings, striking out eight and walking two. Noah Day took the loss for Lancaster Bible College. He went four innings, giving up three runs (two earned) on six hits, striking out one and walking one.

Montgomery County Community College tallied 11 hits in the game. Greco provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Montgomery County Community College with three runs batted in. The outfielder went 2-for-5 on the day. Greco, Stewart, Charlie Levy and John Dzielawa each collected two hits for Montgomery County Community College.

Gus Alvarez led Lancaster Bible with one run batted in. The center fielder went 1-for-3 on the day. Nick Vega and Nate Rosenzweig each collected two hits for Lancaster Bible.

Next up for Montgomery County Community College is a game against Williamson College of the Trades on Thursday.
