John Dzielawa's Walk-off Seals the Deal as Montco Takes Down Williamson Trade

Montgomery County Community College took Thursdays game in dramatic fashion, with a 7-6 walk-off victory over Williamson College of the Trades. The game was tied at six in the bottom of the ninth when John Dzielawa singled, scoring one run to lift the Mustangs over Williamson Trade.

Montgomery County Community College came back to win despite trailing 5-0 in the second. Williamson College of the Trades jumped out to the lead in the top of the second inning after an error scored one run, Zachary Ladislow singled, scoring one run, Josh Illing singled, scoring one run, and Joe Jelly grounded out, scoring two runs. 

Williamson College of the Trades committed an error, which helped Montgomery County Community College tie the game at six in the bottom of the eighth inning. 

Mitchell Barajas pitched six innings in relief for Montgomery County Community College. The right surrendered three hits and one run while, striking out 12 and walking none. Jacob Naumann took the loss for Williamson College of the Trades. He went eight and two-thirds innings, surrendering seven runs ( four earned) on 14 hits, striking out four and walking none. Lucas Shaffert stepped on the mound first for Montgomery County Community College. He gave up five hits and five runs ( one earned) over two innings, striking out two and walking two. 

Montgomery County Community College accumulated 14 hits in the game. Adam Rodriguez drove the middle of the lineup, leading Montgomery County Community College with three runs batted in. The right handed hitter went 2-for-5 on the day. Mike Greco and Dzielawa each collected three hits for Montgomery County Community College. Ryan Stewart and Charlie Levy each collected multiple hits for Montgomery County Community College. Montgomery County Community College turned one double play in the game. 

Ladislow, Illing, and Dylan Marantino each collected two hits for Williamson College of the Trades, Ladislow, Illing, and Kelly each drove in one run for Williamson College of the Trades. Williamson College of the Trades turned two double plays in the game.
