Strong Hitting Not Enough as Mustangs Fall 4-1 to Middlesex

Montgomery County Community College fell 4-1 to Middlesex College on Tuesday despite out-hitting them seven to six. Ryan Stewart and Adam Rodriguez each collected two hits for the Mustangs.

Middlesex got on the board in the first inning after Joshua Rodriguez singled, scoring two runs. 

Ryan Stewart would score the lone run for the Mustangs on a solo homerun to right field in the bottom of the second. 

Joshua Horowitz earned the win for Middlesex College. He gave up seven hits and one run over seven innings, striking out nine and walking three. Liam O'Leary took the loss for Montgomery County Community College despite a strong outing. The right handed pitcher went seven innings, surrendering two runs on four hits, striking out six and walking three.
