Men's Basketball Defeats Sussex
Newton, N.J. - The Montgomery County Community College Mustangs men's basketball team defeated the Skylanders of Sussex County Community College 73-53 on Thursday, Jan. 19, 2012.
The teams played evenly in the first half, as the Mustangs were only able to secure a two point lead, 30-28 by half time. However, in the second half the Mustangs came alive, outscoring the Skylanders by 18 points. The Mustangs took home the 73-53 victory.
Top performers for the Mustangs were Rasahn Brinkley with 17 points and six rebounds, Dashan Dyson with 11 points and six rebounds and Shaquille Graham with 11 points and four rebounds. Also contributing to the win were Dan Diorio and Darnell Clowney with 10 points each, and Omar Askia with six rebounds.
