Game Recap: Men's Basketball Loses to Camden

The Montgomery County Community College Mustangs took a hard loss to the Cougars of Camden County College Thursday night.

The Mustangs were down by ten at half time, after a solid opening performance by the Cougars. In the second half the Mustangs tried to close the gap but the Cougars proved to be a formidable opponent. Ultimately the game concluded in a 56-85 loss for the Mustangs.

"Camden beat us up in all facets of the game tonight," commented Mustangs Head Coach Denny Surovec. "We know we have a lot of work to do to get where we want to be."

The Mustangs' top performers of the evening were freshman Greg Mendrzycki with 13 points, sophomore Darnell Clowney with 10 points and freshman Tyreek Magruder with nine.

Next the Mustangs will host the Bulldogs of Thaddeus Stevens College at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday December 1, 2013.
