Men's Basketball: Gibbs drops 32 points to lead Mustangs over the Hawks

Blue Bell, PA: The Mustangs men's basketball team defeated the Hawks of Harrisburg Area Community College 106-103 in an EPAC showdown.

Sophomore guard Shaakir Gibbs (Wyncote/Simon Gratz) had another big game for the Mustangs dropping 32 points to bring his career total to within 45 of 500 point mark. Freshman forward Marvin Crawley (Glenside/Abington) contributed 22 points and freshman forward Carl Robinson (Jenkintown/Jenkintown) added another 17. Robinson was solid from the line shooting 11 of 13.

The Mustangs move to 3-7 overall and 3-3 in the EPAC. The Mustangs travel to the Phantoms of Delaware County Community College on Wednesday, December 7 for an 8:00PM tip-off. The Phantoms are currently 4-4 overall and 4-1 in the EPAC. The game will be held at the Schwartz Athletic Center on the campus Widener University.

The Mustangs are members of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region XIX and the Eastern Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (EPAC).
