Men's Basketball: Mustangs Muster out a Win at Bucks

 

Newton, PA: The men's basketball team mustered out a tough conference win, 89-83 at Bucks County Community College against the Centurions Tuesday. The score was close throughout the game, as the Mustangs only scored a 2 point difference than the Centurions in the final half (49-47)

Sophomore guard Kyle Pavlik (Chalfont/Lansdale Catholic) led the boards with 25 points as freshman forward Brendan Watton (Conshohocken/ Plymouth Whitemarsh) followed close behind with his 20. Both freshmen guards Martin Crawley (Glenside/ Abington) and JT Vaughan (Norristown/Norristown) also helped seal the Mustang's victory by contributing their 15 and 12 points.

Defensively, the team played a clean game as they only had a total of 3 personal fouls compared to Bucks' 11.

The Mustangs move to 5-9 overall and 4-3 in EPAC play. The Mustangs head to the Cougars of Lehigh Carbon Community College on Thursday for a 7PM tip-off.

The Mustangs are members of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region XIX and the Eastern Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (EPAC).
