Men's Basketball: Mustangs Secure Win Against Bulldogs

Blue Bell, PA: The Mustangs men's basketball team defeated the Bulldogs of Thaddeus Stevens College 84-74, Tuesday in a conference game.

Although the Bulldogs managed to score a single point more in the second half (51-50), the Mustangs were able to secure the win from their 11 point lead in the first half (34-23).

Several Mustangs hit double digits in tonight's performance, with Freshmen guard JT Vaughan (Norristown/Norristown) leading on top with 17 points. Freshman forward Carl Robinson (Jenkintown/ Jenkintown) racked up 15, as well as Sophomore guard Kyle Pavlik (Chalfont/Lansdale Catholic) adding 14. Freshman guard Marvin Crawley (Glenside/ Abington) also chipped in 13 points, along with sophomore forward Brendan Watton's (Conshohocken/ Plymnouth Whitemarsh) 11 to get the win.

The Mustangs move to 6-10 overall and 4-5 in EPAC play. The Mustangs will hit the road at a non- conference game against the Jaguars of Johnson College on Thursday for a 7 PM tip-off.

The Mustangs are members of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region XIX and the Eastern Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (EPAC).
