Men's Basketball: Mustangs Lose Battle to Spartans

 

Blue Bell, PA: The Mustangs men's basketball team were defeated 98-57 by the Northampton Community College Spartans in a conference game, Thursday.

The Spartans came to fight for the win, putting up 16 points on the board before the Mustangs could score. Unable to close the gap, the Mustangs trailed the duration of the game.

Freshman guard Carl Robinson (Jenkintown/ Jenkintown) scored 14 points. Freshman guard Matt Ruskey (Pennspurg/ Upper Perkiomen) had a total of 10 points and 14 rebounds for tonight's game.

Sophomore guard Kyle Pavlik (Chalfont/Lansdale Catholic) and freshman guard Marvin Crawley (Glenside/ Abington) both contributed 8 points each. Crawley also had 14 rebounds.

The Mustangs move to 7-12 overall and 6-7 in EPAC play. The Mustangs will play against the Delaware County Community College Phantoms in a conference game on Tuesday. Tip-off is 8 PM.

The Mustangs are members of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region XIX and the Eastern Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (EPAC).
