Hawks Take Flight From Their Nest, as Mustang’s Momentum Continues to Rise!

On Thursday night, your Mustangs traveled to our State Capital to take on the Harrisburg Area Community College Hawks in a Mens/Womens Double Header. Our Women's team started the night off right with a 56-17 victory, quickly followed by a decisive 89-53 win from our Men!

Jay Joseph led the Mustangs in scoring, amasing a grand total of 16 points! Joseph was followed close behind by Nigel Cooke 14 points, and Jalen Cary 9 points! The points could not have been accomplished without a little assistance, lent out by Matt Compas with 5 assists, Will Anderson with 4, and Jalen Cary with 3 assists.

Your Mustangs exhibited great ball control led by none other than Jay Joseph who garnered 11 rebounds! Jason Price and Jalen Cary also recovered 7 rebounds a piece, while Nigel Cooke and Will Anderson collected 6 rebounds as well! The Mustangs defense stood tough on the court dealing out 4 blocks! Nigel Cooke, Jason Price, Anthony McClinton and Jay Joseph all had 1 block on Thursday night! Finally, Noah Baker led our team in steals snatching 3 possessions from the Hawks! Nigel Cooke, Matt Compas, and Nate Hartman also pilfered 2 steals each!
