Mustangs Outrun Cougars

On Saturday your Mustangs faced off against the Cougars of Lehigh Carbon Community College in a fierce Men's/Women's double header! Our Women's team lost a close game by a score of 55-39. But our Men's team won by a score of 98-55!

Anthony McClinton led the Mustangs in scoring amasing a grand total of 19 points! Jalen Cary followed close behind with 17 points, while Noah Baker and Nate Hartman also scored 11 points each! This could not have been achieved without our invaluable assists from Jalen Cary who led the team with 6 assists, and Jason Price, Nigel Cooke, and Will Anderson who each had 4 assists! Freshman Jason Price also had a great shooting night shooting with 100% accuracy in his 5 field goal attempts.

Your Mustangs had a fierce control over the ball! Jason Price led the team with 2 blocks, while Jake Schalki and Anthony McClinton each had a block as well! Nate Hartman led the team in steals, snatching 2 possessions away from the Cougars. While Jake Schalki, Jason Price, Will Anderson, Jalen Cary, and Jay Joseph each contributed one steal to our heist!

Anthony McClinton also led the team in rebounds totaling 13 on the night! While Will Anderson, Jalen Cary, and Noah Baker contributed 9, 7, and 7 rebounds respectfully. We also successfully rebounded while on offense as Anthony McClinton garnered 6 offensive rebounds, while Noah Baker and Jay Joseph secured an additional 4 offensive rebounds!

Meanwhile our Men's team faces off against the Spartans of Northampton Community College (17-2) at 7pm on Tuesday February 8th in our Eastern Pennsylvania Athletic Conference Championship Game!
