Mustangs Run Past Luzerne 87-40

The Montco Mustangs Men's Basketball team improved to 8-0 on the season after they defended their home court in a convincing win over Luzerne County Community College. The Mustangs jumped out to an early lead and never looked back as they secured a 47 point win, with a final score of 87-40.

Only giving up 18 points in the first half, the Mustangs held their opponent to hit just 24.2% of field goal attempts and outrebounded Luzerne County by 24 boards. Freshman Brandon Bush finished with 16 points and 8 rebounds on an efficient 7-8 from the field. Sophomore Jason Price dumped in 14 points (5-8 FG), 3 steals and added 2 blocks for the Mustangs. Sophomore Christian Renninger provided a spark off the bench with 13 points (6-8 FG), 6 rebounds and 2 steals, while Freshman Kameren Williams added 11 points and 5 rebounds off the bench.
