Mustangs Surge in 2nd Half to Take Down Panthers 76-57

The Montco Men's basketball team improved to 16-1 after Saturday's away win over Passaic County Community College. After being down 8 points early in the first half, Montco stormed back to take a halftime lead of 35-33, with all the momentum heading into the final half. The Mustangs' defense in the second half propelled them to their 6th straight win, with a final score of 76-57 in the away matchup.

Brandon Bush led the Mustangs on offense with an efficient 20 points (9-14 FG) and 8 rebounds. Cris Dinolfi added 15 (6-13 FG) points to go along with 7 boards, 5 assists and 3 steals, including an off-the-backboard dime to Brandon Bush, who finished it with an emphatic dunk late in the second half. Sean Emfinger finished with 13 points, 8 rebounds and 2 blocks in the matchup.

The Mustangs will look to pick up their 7th win in a row on Monday night, in an away matchup at Camden County College (14-14), on the first night of a back-to-back for Montco. The game will be held at 7 P.M. in Ocean County. The Mustangs' next home matchup will be Tuesday, January 30th against Delaware County Community College at 7 P.M, where they have a chance to improve to 10-0 in home games on the season.
