Mustangs Catch Fire Defeating Ocean 112-93

The Montco Men's basketball team improved to 17-1 with a 112-93 win over Ocean County College in the first game of a back-to-back on Monday, January 29. The Mustangs led by over 20 points in the first half, and went into halftime with a 57-38 lead over the Vikings. Despite a strong effort and a late push from Ocean County, the Mustangs' offense was rolling, and propelled them to their 7th straight win.

Sophomore Cris Dinolfi knocked down 4 three-pointers in the victory, finishing with 27 points (10-17 FG) to go along with 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Baasil Saunders and Sean Emfinger combined for a very efficient 37 points on 64% shooting. Emfinger added 8 boards while Saunders dished 5 assists in the matchup. Off the bench, Johnathan Brooks came up big with 10 points, going 5-6 from the field and grabbing 5 rebounds.

The #6 ranked Mustangs have yet to lose in 2024 and both the women's and men's teams have five home games left in the regular season.
