Men's Soccer Falls to Camden
Camden, N.J. - The Montgomery County Community College Mustangs men’s soccer team fell to the Cougars of Camden County College 1-3 on Thursday, Sept. 2, 2010.
The game started off well for the Mustangs when Lekan King volleyed a cross from Ahmed Faik into the lower right corner of the goal nine minutes into the first half. The Mustangs held their 1-0 lead solidly through the first half, ending the half up by one.
But the Cougars answered back in the second half knocking in three goals and keeping the Mustangs scoreless. In the 1-3 loss the Mustangs notched 10 shots and goalkeeper Anthony Cellucci racked up nine saves.
Next the Mustangs will travel to Middlesex County College on Thursday, Sept. 9. Game time is 3:30 p.m.
