Game Recap: Men's Soccer Falls to Bucks

The Bucks County Community College Centurions defeated the Montgomery County Community College Mustangs men's soccer team 3-1 this week.

The Mustangs started off on the right foot, scoring first with a blazing shot by freshman Joseph Lasher. The Mustangs held the Centurions to a 1-0 score until just a few minutes before the end of the first half, at which point the opponent was able to tie it up.

Even at 1-1 going into the second half, the Centurions surged offensively, scoring two goals to secure the 3-1 win. Despite out-shooting the the Centurions 19-8, the Mustangs could not find the back of the net. The loss was a hard one for the Mustangs.

"Our team played very well. We dominated on the possession of the ball, and we kept our style," commented Assistant Coach Edgar Martinez. "We didn't win, but we fought until the end. I'm proud of the performance our team."
