Men's Soccer: Defeat the Trojans 6-2

Blue Bell, PA- The Mustangs Men's Soccer team defeated the Trojans of Valley Forge Military College 6-2. Freshman forward Andrew Mancini (Pottstown, PA/PA Cyber) started off the scoring with his first goal 4 minutes into the game with an assist from Mena Melika (Hatfield, PA/North Penn). Forward Michael Rauscher (Conshohocken, PA/Plymouth Whitemarsh) scored at the 11 minute mark from an assist from Sasha McVeagh (Flourtown, PA/Springfield Twp). Mancini scored his second goal on the day with an assist from Sage Gary (Philadelphia, PA/Roxborough) to pull ahead to a 3-0 lead. The Trojans got on the board at the 35:00 mark. Second year forward Igor McVeagh (Flourtown/Springfield Twp. HS) then scored a hattrick with goals at 44:00, 48:00 and 65th minute marks. Goal keeper Aaron Williams saved 10 shots on 12 attempts.

The Mustangs are home Saturday, October 8 against the Skylanders of Sussex County College at 12:00 PM. The Mustangs are 3-5-1 in the EPAC and 3-7-1 in Region XIX.

The Mustangs are members of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region XIX and the Eastern Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (EPAC).
