Men's Soccer: Secure first win of season

Media, PA: The Mustangs Men's Soccer team pulled off their first win of the season against the Trojans of Valley Forge Military College 3-0 in EPAC play.

The Mustangs got on the board first with an unassisted goal by freshman forward Robert Griffenberg (Hatboro, PA/Hatboro-Horsham ion 22 minutes. The game remained 1-0 until the second half when sophomore forward Igor McVeagh (Flourtown, PA/Springfield Twp) hit the back of the net at the 63rd minute mark. The third and final goal of the game was scored by first year forward Andrew Mancini (Pottstown, PA/PA Cyber) scored at 72 minutes. First year goalkeeper Aaron Williams (Ambler, PA/G.W. Gibson) had 9 saves for the Mustangs.

The Mustangs are now 1-3 overall and 1-2 in the EPAC. The Mustangs will return home to face the Hawks of Harrisburg Area Community College on Tuesday, September 13, 3:30 PM.

The Mustangs are members of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region XIX and the Eastern Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (EPAC).
