Men's soccer traveled to Northampton Community College on Thursday to take on the Spartans. Working off of a 3-game undefeated streak, the Mustangs were looking to grab a win and keep their momentum alive.
However, Northampton had other things in mind. Immediately, the pressure was put on the Mustangs when the Spartans scored two goals in the first 11 minutes. Chakubuta Tuhenya (FR, Springfield) managed to answer the Northampton attack before the end of the first half.
Unfortunately for the Mustangs, the second half was much lower scoring. Northampton managed to grab another goal in the 76th minute, sealing the win for Northampton.
The Mustangs will get a chance to rebound against Bucks County Community College on Tuesday.
