The Montgomery County Community College Mustangs women's basketball team defeated the Phantoms of Delaware County Community College 54-12 Tuesday evening.
The Mustangs rolled past the Phantoms from the opening whistle, leading 30-8 by half time. Allowing only four points in the second half, the Mustangs were able to run away with the game.
Mallory Mugnier racked up 23 points, five blocks and eight steals to lead the Mustangs, followed by Danielle Lillo who notched six points and an impressive 17 rebounds.
Mustangs Head Coach Kelly Donohue was happy about the victory. "I was proud of the girls tonight. They played together, it was a needed win."
