Game Recap: Blue Jays Overpower Women's Basketball

The Montgomery County Community College Mustangs women's basketball team lost to the Manor College Blue Jays Saturday.

The game started out evenly but the Blue Jays were able to build a significant lead by the midpoint of the second half. The Mustangs changed up their strategy and were able to come back from a nearly 30-point deficit, but ran out of time before taking the lead. The Blue Jays took home the 64-50 victory in the end.

Mallory Mugnier and Dayna McCrewell led the team with 17 and 15 points respectively. Mugnier came up big with four assists, four steals and two blocks, while McCrewell did her part with nine rebounds, five assits, three steals and two blocks.

Amelia Stockman tallied eight defensive rebounds, followed by newcomer Liz Keegan with six.
