Thursday evening the Montgomery County Community College Mustangs women's basketball team defeated the Centurions of Bucks County Community College 52-24.
The Mustangs opened the game with a 12-0 run and never looked back. Head Coach Kelly Donohue was proud of her team's strong performance.
"The girls played great basketball," commented Donohue.
Amelia Stockman led the Mustangs with a double-double of 25 points and 10 rebounds. Teammate Mallory Mugnier racked up 20 points to follow.
On defense Mugnier tallied four blocks, while sophomore Dayna McCrewell notched 15 rebounds.
Saturday the team will travel to Ocean County College for a 12:00 p.m. tip-off against the Vikings.
