Game Recap: Mustangs Defeat Phantoms 51-30

Led by double-doubles from Bryanna Lacey and Morgan Sauermann, the Montgomery County Community College Mustangs women's basketball team defeated the Delaware County Community College Phantoms 51-30 on Tuesday.

The Mustangs dominated play from the opening tip off to the closing buzzer, notching 24 points in the first half and 27 points in the second. The Phantoms could only muster a total of 30 points to hand the Mustangs the 21-point win.

Bryanna Lacey recorded a double-double of 12 points and 10 rebounds, while Morgan Sauermann collected a double-double of 10 points and 13 rebounds. Freshman Angelina Sirak also posted a strong performance with nine points, 16 rebounds and six assists. Chloe Long contributed as well, with 11 points and four assists.

The Mustangs' last game before winter break will be a home game against the Community College of Philadelphia on Thursday Dec. 19th. Tip off is 5:00 p.m.
