The Montgomery County Community College Mustangs women's basketball team lost 55-82 to the Colonials of the Community College of Philadelphia Thursday.
The first half was a close match-up, resulting in a four point spread of 36-32 in favor of the Colonials at half time. But the Mustangs were unable to keep up, as the Colonials outscored the Mustangs 46-23 in the second half.
Bryanna Lacey led the Mustangs' offensive effort with 22 points and four offensive rebounds. Emily Hagan followed with 12 points and five assists. On defense, Angelina Sirak collected 10 defensive rebounds in the effort.
The Mustangs will step on the court again on January 9, 2014 with a home game against Middlesex County College.
