Game Recap: Colts Top Women's Basketball

The Colts of Middlesex County College defeated the Montgomery County Community College Mustangs women's basketball team  88-40 Thursday.

The Mustangs prepared to face tough play from the Region 19 5th ranked Colts, but could not keep up from the onset. The Colts exploded on the court, racking up 46 points in the first half and only allowing 18 from the Mustangs. The second half proved to be a better showing for the Mustangs, but the team was still outscored by 20 points. The result was an 88-40 win for the Colts.

On the Mustangs' side, the leading scorer was Brynna Lacey with 12 points, followed by Angelina Sirak with nine and Jiana Clark with eight. 

Next the team will face off against the Trailblazers of Luzerne County Community College on Saturday, January 11. Game time is 12:00 p.m.
