Women's Basketball: Mustangs Defeat Centurions

 

Newton, PA: The Mustangs Women's basketball team took the win on the road in a conference game against Bucks County Community College's Centurions 66-24 Tuesday.

Sophomore guard Alison Henning (Norristown/Norristown) was tonight's lead scorer with 13 points, followed by sophomore forward Linda Sobeck's (King of Prussia/ Upper Merion) 12 points. Freshmen forwards Sydnee Towns (Harleysville / North Penn) and Mechiah Brant (Pottstown/ Owen J Roberts) also contributed 8 points each to the Mustang's victory.

The team played very controlled as they kept a solid lead for the duration of game.

The Mustangs move to 5-7 overall and 3-1 in EPAC play. The Mustangs will face off against  the Lehigh Carbon County College Cougars  for another conference game on the road.  Tip-off is at 6PM on Thursday.

The Mustangs are members of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region XIX and the Eastern Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (EPAC).
