Women's Basketball: Cougars Get the Win Against Mustangs

Schnecksville, PA: The women's basketball team was defeated by the Cougars of Lehigh Carbon Community College 50-28 in conference play Thursday.

At the half, Mustangs were down 11 points (25-14) hoping to close close the gap, but the same scoring deficit resulted by the end of the game.

With 15 points, Sophomore guard Alison Henning (Norristown/Norristown) scored the most for the Mustangs while freshman forward Mechiah Brant (Pottstown/ Owen J Roberts) added 7 points to the board.

The Mustangs now have an overall record of 5-8 and 3-2 in EPAC play. The Mustangs will host their next home game against the Bluejays of Manor County College on Tuesday for a 6PM tip-off.

The Mustangs are members of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region XIX and the Eastern Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (EPAC).
