Women's Basketball: Bluejays Fly Away with a Win

 

Blue Bell, PA: The women's basketball team  faced a tough matchup against the Manor College Bluejays in a non-conference game Tuesday. The final score was 63-26.

The women's team struggled to get in a rhythm, trailing the Bluejays for the duration of the game.

Despite the Mustangs being unable to make up the deficit, freshman forward Dejah China (Elkins Park/ Cheltenham) scored 7 points.  Freshman forward Mechiah Brant (Pottstown/ Owen J Roberts) also added 7 points while sophomores Alison Henning (Norristown/Norristown), Linda Sobeck (King of Prussia/ Upper Merion) and Anna Morgan (AMbler/ Wissahickon) put up 4 points each.

The Mustangs now have an overall record of 5-9 and 3-2 in EPAC play. The Mustangs will host their next home game against the Bluejays of Manor County College on Tuesday for a 6PM tip-off.

The Mustangs are members of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region XIX and the Eastern Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (EPAC).
