Philadelphia, PA: The Mustangs women's basketball team defeated the Colonials at Philadelphia Community College 64-35 in a non-conference game Tuesday.
The Mustangs' lead scorer of the night with a total of 16 points was freshman forward Mechiah Brant (Pottstown/ Owen J Roberts), followed by sophomore guard Allison Henning with 13 points.
Freshmen forward Dejah China (Elkins Park/ Cheltenham) also contributed 11 points, as well as Linda Sobeck's (King of Prussia/ Upper Merion) 9.
The Mustangs now have an overall record of 6-10 and 3-2 in EPAC play. The Mustangs will play home on Thursday, January 26 against the Northampton Community College Spartans in a conference game. Tip-off is at 6:00pm. The Mustangs are members of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region XIX and the Eastern Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (EPAC).
