The women's basketball team hosted Howard Community College on Thursday. The Mustangs were ready to make a statement early in the season by adding another win.
Unfortunately, the Dragons had other plans. Howard took the lead early and built a strong lead throughout the first half. The Mustangs pushed for a comeback in the fourth quarter, but ultimately fell short by a score of 66-52.
Taylor Keys (SO, Berks Catholic) came off the bench and scored half of the Mustangs' 52 points. She also led the team in rebounds with ten on the way to earning her first double-double of the season.
Next, the Mustangs will take on Penn State Lehigh on Saturday.
