Women's Basketball Gets Back on Track with win against HACC

Women's basketball had suffered two straight losses after getting their first win of the season. However, they had managed to get by through one of the toughest parts of their schedule and were ready to go on a run to get back to .500 and, consequently, back into regional playoffs.

The opponent standing in their way was Harrisburg Area Community College, an 0-2 school who had recently declared club status for this season. This was a perfect opportunity for the Mustangs and they capitalized on it.

They jumped out to a huge 20-2 lead in the first quarter and never looked back, ultimately defeating the Hawks by a final score of 68-20.

Christine Marie (FR, Archbishop Ryan) led the Mustangs in scoring with 13 points, and four Mustangs reached double figures. Miljana Vukoslavovic (SO, Serbia) grabbed 11 rebounds coming off the bench.

The Mustangs will look to keep their momentum moving forward when they take on Northampton Community College on Thursday, a game that could have EPAC playoff seeding implications.
