Montgomery County Community College women's basketball opened up the 2024-2025 basketball campaign in convincing fashion cruising past Passaic 81-34. The Mustangs had six players score in double digits and were relentless defensively holding Passaic to 23 % shooting from the field. The Mustangs were paced by Leilany Ayala who had 19 points and 7 rebounds in her Mustang debut. All five starters scored in double figures; Tiesha Walker recorded 15 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists. Azjiona Golston facilited the offense and had 14 points and 6 steals. Rachel Dunn posted a double double with 11 points and 12 rebounds. Alana Decker and Molly Butler scored 11 and 10 points respectively.
The Mustangs are back in action on Saturday November 9th when they host Brookdale Community College at 12 pm.
