The Mustangs improved to 2-0 on the season taking down Brookdale 65-41. After a back and fourth first quarter the Mustangs seized control in the 2nd quarter outscoring the Jersey Blues 20-7 to take a 32-19 lead into the half. Azjiona Golston led the Mustangs with 21 points 4 assists and 3 steals. Rachel Dunn had 12 points and 9 rebounds as the Mustangs were able to wear down Brookdale with their depth. The Mustangs forced 17 steals on the day which allowed them to expand on their lead and come away with the 65-41 win.
The Mustangs are back in action on Tuesday November 12th when they travel to Sussex County Community College.
