Bears Overpower Mustangs
Bryn Mawr, Pa. - The Harcum College Bears won 9-2 over the Montgomery County Community College Mustangs on Oct. 12, 2010.
The Bears had two quality forwards that proved to be too much for the Mustangs. Luteisha Shelton and Natasha Douglas scored seven of the Bears' nine goals, four and three respectively.
In the first half the Bears tucked away seven goals on the Mustangs but after some half time adjustments, the Mustangs were able to match their opponent evenly at 2-2. Malorie Waters scored both of the Mustangs' goals off passes from Jeannine Mason. Sydnee Ryan's efforts in the back field contributed to much of the Mustangs' defensive success in the second part of the game.
