Blue Bell, PA- The Mustangs women's soccer team was defeated by the Owls of Union County College 1-4. The Mustangs were first on the board with a goal by Ashley Kleinert (Willow Grove/Upper Moreland) at the 33:00 minute mark. The Mustangs had many opportunities to score but could not find the back of the net. Goalkeep Angeline Capozzi (Lansdale, PA/Methacton) did not see a shot on goal in the first half. The Owls were able to score 4 goals in the second half.
The Mustangs are now 3-9 in Region XIX. The Mustangs are back at home against the Centurians of Bucks County Community College on Tuesday, October 18, 3:30 PM.
