Mustangs Fall to Bucks in High-Scoring Affair

At The Proving Grounds on Tuesday, women's soccer had to prove that they could compete with some of the best teams in the conference.

Their opponent was Bucks County Community College, their rival and one of the top powered offenses in the region last year.

The game got off to a blistering start. Bucks scored quickly and often and the Mustangs were forced to answer back. At half, the score was 4-2 in favor of the Centurions.

With a high-scoring first half, you would expect a larger score in the second. However, both teams sat back and played some great defense. Neither team could find the net and the final score was 4-2.

Rowan College of South Jersey - Cumberland is the Mustangs next opponent. They'll take them on during Thursday's home match.
