Women's Soccer Finishes With A Win

Women's Soccer Finishes With A Win

Women's soccer was officially eliminated from Region XIX playoff contention on Tuesday, when they fell to Bucks County Community College in overtime. However, the Mustangs wouldn't let that get them down. They were determined to finish strong and take some momentum into next season. Their last game of the season took place on Thursday, when they traveled to Harrisburg Area Community College.

The Hawks were actually the first team to strike, scoring a goal in the second minute of the game. However, the Mustangs didn't let that get them down. They rallied around each other and attacked the defense even harder. Only 23 minutes later, the Mustangs scored their first goal of the game. From there, the Mustangs dominated, scoring three more goals in the second half.

Abigail Nice (FR, Christopher Dock) had a monster game, scoring a hat trick. Sophomore Kelsey Breisch (Perkiomen Valley) scored a goal in the last game of her Montco soccer career.

Congratulations to the Mustang women's soccer team for another great season!
