Women's Volleyball: Victorious over GSAC Opponent

Blue Bell, PA: The Mustangs defeated the Roadrunners of Rowan College at Gloucester County in three sets with scores of 25-11, 25-5, 25-4.

Outside Hitter Linda Sobeck (King of Prussia, PA/Upper Merion) and Middle Hitter Hiba Elrhanjaoui (Maple Glen, PA/ Upper Dublin) led the team with 6 kills each. Elrhanjaoui also had an impressive hitting percentage of 0.857% and 9 aces. Again, Freshman setter (Carlye Odorisio (King of Prussia, PA/Upper Merion) continues to lead the team in assists with 24 and Defensive Specialist Tara Moffa (Hatfield, PA/North Penn had 15 digs. The team had 30 kills, 26 assists, 23 service aces, and 40 digs.

Rita River said "The team played well and kept their composure through all 3 sets. I was impressed with our consistency throughout the 3 sets. Consistency is something we can struggle with but it was not an issue today." 

The Mustangs are on home again on Tuesday, September 27 for an EPAC conference match with Lackawanna College at 7 PM.
