Bio

Misti Volpe was named Montgomery County Community College women’s volleyball head coach in August 2010. Before coming to Montgomery County Community College, Volpe served as the Assistant Varsity volleyball coach at Hatboro Horsham Senior High in 2006. In addition, she has coached a number of club teams, including Outsiders Volleyball Club and Gryphon Volleyball Club, which she led to a bronze medal finish in the Jade bracket of the East Coach Championship in 2003. 

Volpe is a 2003 graduate of Eastern University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biokinetics, with a concentration in Pre-Physical and Occupational Therapy. She played outside hitter, opposite hitter, and backup setter at Eastern in 2001 and 2002. Volpe was named an Academic All-American in 2001 and contributed to two NCAA Regional Tournament appearances and one Sweet Sixteen appearance.
